Walk-a-vator

Two nights ago I had a long dream that involved walking to and from and back to a little local weird cafe thing. The only part I can really remember, other than that we walked for a long time, there were two levels in the restaurant (like half levels), and there was this HUGE university building on the way that we stopped in, is that there was this huge elevator that was in the building that was the size of a normal bedroom and you could see out of it (but it wasn't glass, I think it was clear metal) and it moved very fast, like a carnival ride.
